I have tried many photo traps in the same price range, but this is the only one that really has invisible 940nm infrared LEDs, essential for the most wary animals or against thieves.
I really appreciated the rubber buttons, they are very sensitive and at night (when the display is on) they are backlit.
The display is very visible from all angles.
The hermetic closure is very well made and the most stressed parts are made of metal.
In addition to the strap, about 1.50m long, for fixing there is also an adjustable support with a 1/4” screw and three screws to orient the photo trap as best as possible.
It has both eyelets to close it with a padlock and additional rear loops to tie it with a steel cable to prevent theft.
The memory is a Netac Micro SD 32GB Pro HC1 A1 Class 10/U1/U3.
It records videos in AVI format, setting 1080P videos of 30 seconds, creates 180Mb night files 220Mb daytime, the memory will hold about 80 minutes of video recording.
It is powered by 4 or 8 AA batteries and/or by an external 6V power supply with a 3.5x1.3mm connector, you don't have to remove it to open it, so it can also be used without batteries inserted in the camera trap.
I tested it with 4 rechargeable lithium AA batteries from COOLIFEPRO (1.5V).
With a single charge, I recorded 30-second night videos for a total of more than 2 hours, obviously filming during the day would last 3 or 4 times longer.
It has three shooting modes:
- with motion sensor (PIR)
- timed, photo and/or video at a minimum interval of 3 seconds
- timelapse, automatically creates a video (does not save photos). Both the shooting interval (min 3 seconds) and the length of the generated file (5 sec – 10 min) can be set
It can record:
- photos from 3 to 48 MPX
- timelapse videos 3, 5 and 8 MPX respectively 1296P, 1728P and 2160P
- videos from 240P to 2160P, duration from 3 seconds to 10 minutes with interval from 5 seconds to 60 minutes. For the review I tested it at 1080P 30 seconds and 5 interval.
You can adjust the brightness of the IR LEDs with 3 fixed settings or automatically, which quickly adapts to changes.
The date/time bar can be hidden.
Die Kamera tut ihren Job sehr gut. Man erkennt die Tiere, die die Kamera Filmt, auch aus weiterer Entfernung. Der Bewegungssensor ist sehr Empfindlich und schlägt bei kleinsten Bewegungen aus. Auf jeden Fall Kaufempfehlung 👍
Sehr gute Fotoqualität bei Tag und Nacht. Super Weitwinkel! Kann ich bestens Empfehlen.
ha fatto bene il suo lavoro, le immagini anche notturne erano nitide.non sono riuscito a regolare la quantità degli scatti.....ma ora non ho più questo problema . E' stata rubata alcuni giorni fa. la tenevo in un terreno in campagna dove ho subito numerosi furti....
