Animal Protection Around The World

With the disappearance of a number of rare and endangered species, animal protection is one of the important issues currently facing human society. Globally, governments and organisations have adopted a series of measures to protect wildlife and promote animal welfare. The objectives of these policies are to protect rare and endangered species, maintain ecological balance, ensure animal welfare, and encourage public awareness of animal responsibility. The degree and scope of implementation of these policies also vary in different countries depending on regional, cultural and legal differences.

United States:
  1. US Endangered Species Act (ESA): this act was passed in 1973 to protect endangered and threatened species and to prohibit the trade and hunting of wildlife.
  2. US National Park Service: Responsible for managing the National Park System, which protects a large number of wildlife and habitats.
  3. US Animal Welfare Act (AWA): sets standards in the use and sale of animals and protects laboratory animals and pets.

  2. Nature reserves: establishes various types of protected areas, including national parks and nature reserves, to protect wildlife and ecological diversity.
  3. Animal Welfare: enacting laws to safeguard the welfare rights and interests of animals, and prohibiting the abuse and cruel treatment of animals.

The world attaches great importance to animal protection and adopts laws, regulations and policies to protect wild animals and plants, maintain ecological balance and ensure harmonious coexistence between human beings and animals. In addition, there are many local regulations and organisations dedicated to advancing the cause of animal protection. These measures aim to ensure that animals are properly cared for and respected, while protecting the natural resources and biodiversity of the planet.

Animal protection policies in countries around the globe play an important role in protecting wildlife, maintaining ecological balance and advocating animal welfare. Through laws and regulations, the delineation of protected areas, animal welfare education and international cooperation, we are working together to create a safer and more sustainable living environment for wild animals and to protect the precious natural resources and biodiversity on Earth.
